Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) was established in 2003 and is located in the Institutional Area of New Delhi. The college was set up to fulfil the growing demands of students interested in careers in broadcast journalism, advertising, PR/corporate communication, event management, social media, Bollywood, etc. The college is also promoting the necessary skills in news anchoring, electronic cinematography, video editing, etc. Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication has won many awards & honours for its excellence in student advancement, teaching methods, cutting-edge curriculum, and faculty. AIMC also achieved a position in the top 10 mass communication colleges in India. Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication mainly offers 1-year diploma courses in different specializations such as Television and Radio Journalism/Production, Advertising and Marketing Communication and so on. Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi offers postgraduate diploma courses in five different specializations such as Television and Radio Journalism/Production, Advertising and Marketing Communication, Digital Media & Online Journalism, Business and Financial Journalism. The duration of these courses offered by the college is 1 year and college also provides 8 weeks of internships to the students. The fee for these courses is approximately Rs 2,40,000 per annum. The fee at AIMC is to be paid annually. The college offers more than 100 seats in the stream of journalism and advertising. The courses offered by the college have their own specializations.

Some courses give more importance to the art and craft of the audio-visual world and plan to give a working knowledge of the advertising world. The curriculum of these courses gives an opportunity to the students for developing an understanding of the strategic management of public relations and event management by analyzing the history and current trends of the professions.
